SEAN PAUL -Biography

| | Sean Paul | As a confirmed artist, Sean Paul led a long road before acquiring the fame which is his today. Born in 1973, he inherits from a heavy heritage. Son of famous Jamaican painter, he is also the fruit of several roots because he is a mixture of previous history stemming from African, Asian continents, and European. From adolescence, he discovers that school not a vocation for the mathematics but rather for the sport. It is however in this domain that he is going in a 1st time to try to make his hole. He is moreover not far from reaching there, even going as far as representing Jamaica during international competitions of water polo. After several disappointing experiences in the professional world notably as a banker, Sean Paul turns to his second passion, music. Influenced by Shabba Ranks or Great Cat, he seduces his circle of acquaintances from the moment he begins improvising on the fragments of his idols. Encouraged by the compliments of his close relations, he play his relations and succeeds bit by bit in being made a name in the middle. The 1st proof of his talent shines out in 1996 under the shape of an entitled single Baby Girl. From then on, the way is opened for other titles such as Hot Gal Today, Deport Them, Infiltrate, or Incites 1st Mrs. His album Training One goes out four years later, in 2000. Dutty Rock goes out in France in June, 2003. |
